Telephones

  • The phones are not manned each Weekday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, although the surgery is open at these times. They are also not manned before 8am, so if you cannot make an early morning appointment then please phone at least the day before. 
  • The phones are also not manned from 12pm on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. 
  • When the phone lines are not manned you will be put through to the out of hours emergency GP service.

Extended Access

This practice is part of the Extended Access service which provides GP, Physiotherapy, Nurse and Healthcare Assistant appointments from the following locations across Bradford:

  1. Bowling Highfield Medical Practice: Rooley Lane, Bradford BD4 7SS
  2. Hillside Bridge: Butler St W, Bradford BD3 0BS
  3. Picton Medical Centre: Westbourne Green Community Health Care Centre, Manningham, Bradford BD8 8RA

As a registered patient with this practice, you have access to the following:

Weekday appointments

Evening appointments from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at any of the three hubs to see one of the following, subject to availability:

  • GP
  • Physiotherapist
  • Smears
  • Healthcare Assistant for blood tests, blood pressure checks, diabetic foot checks
  • Voluntary Sector Services including young people's counselling, carer support services, welfare and benefits advice, mental health support and women's specific support

Weekend appointments

GP appointments are available on Saturday 9-5pm and 1 hour on Sundays. Subject to availability.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
